Waterfront Studios website expired

Oh dear! - It looks like the powers that be have let the domain name of this business centre expire (waterfrontstudios.biz) and now one of those cyber squatting, ad toting (Melborne IT Ltd) companies have nabbed it, parked it or have replaced it with Ad city, maybe a temporary thing or not? Who knows?

However - all is not lost the following domain names are still available;
waterfrontstudios.eu
waterfrontstudios.info
waterfrontstudios.net
waterfrontstudios.org.uk
waterfrontstudios.ltd.uk
waterfront-studios.co.uk
waterfront-studios.biz

Grab one quick lads - while you still can!

I don't know if they saw this post or they were just down for a while but as if by magic their website came back up again the day after I posted this blog!

Furniture Auction

ELSBC are holding an auction of office furniture in the meeting room of Waterfront Studios on Tuesday 12th December 2006 between 12 noon and 2pm. They say it is a "Great opportunity to obtain office furniture at the lowest possible prices."

For those of you who can't make this auction it might be worth taking a look at a previous post on this blog entitled "Office furniture - Lean and green and just up the road!"

Olympics 2012 joins the blogging fraternity

There are 2065 days to go to the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Games.

So, the powers that be have created a 'Work in Progress' blog to tell us what they are doing day by day and no doubt how they are spending our money. I wonder if there will be a javascript Walnut Whipometer?

I for one will be looking forward to seeing how they learn about pedestrian traffic control. Anyone who uses Stratford station/terminus regularly will know exactly what I am on about. The Victorians did a grand job channeling us to and from the platforms without colliding into each other so what happened at Stratford?

The olympic committee should send all their eager architects to Stratford terminus and make them use it everyday at all times for at least a week so they how know 'How NOT to design it!'

Olympic 2012 blog this way!
