If you are a WS tenant and you don't want to go to the full trouble of creating your own blog then why not take advantage of this blog and contribute here? By sending me your contact details I will list your company website in the links section on the right of this page. You will also receive a 'blogger' invite which will enable you to post your own articles in this blog (yes, read shameless self promotion). All you have to do is just create a username and password and your away! You never know you might even get more business as a result.

'OWN IT' EVENT “How not to get ripped off”
Being copied and someone else ripping off your creative ideas is a major concern once you start to sell, publicise and promote your creative work. You need to protect your ideas and make sure you know what to do if someone does actually copy what is rightfully yours.

This Own It event will offer a basic guide to the law, covering the steps any creative professional should take in order to stop somebody else stealing or otherwise using your work without your permission (including copyright, patenting, trade marks, licensing and design rights.) There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

When and Where

Date: Thursday October 6th 2-4pm
Venue: Stratford Circus 2, Theatre Sq, Stratford, E15 1BX
To register for the event please email creativehubs@thames-gateway.org.uk

At Excel this weekend - The ultimate lad's experience

Until 2000, Dave was just a regular guy. He grew up in a respectable family in Locks Bottom, Kent and was just settling into his first job when he won £23m on the lottery with £1 that his Nan gave him.

Since then, Dave has spent three years travelling the globe in style; following Jordan on the F1 circuit in 2001, joining the Chilli Peppers on their world tour in 2002, and most recently cruising on The world.

However, Dave has missed his mates, and all the other things you’d miss if you lived away from home for three years (the football, the telly, Mum’s cooking etc) so he’s decided to return home to London and create a huge party for his mates.

Inspired by his global adventures, Dave’s vision is to bring the best of everything he has seen and done together in one place to create the ultimate lads’ weekend.
